I am 58 years young, a Mother, Grandmother, Fitness and Wellness Professional, entrepreneur, business owner, and published author.
My passion is helping you to improve your core strength, reduce inflammation at the cellular level, and create your healthiest, happiest life through feeling strong, energetic, confident, and WELL. I want to see you reach your highest goals and live the highest version of yourself, receiving all you came here for, and giving your best to make a positive difference in this lifetime. The best gift I can give you is empowering you to show up for yourself every day.
When we feel healthier and stronger in every area of our lives, we have more to give to our families, friends, and loved ones, our careers, our purpose, and to the world.
And I believe you are here to boldly and generously share your unique gifts and talents with the world, whatever that means to you. Generosity is true fulfillment, and fulfillment of purpose is the ultimate success.
I began my own wellness and fitness journey 25 years ago, after struggling with an inflammatory condition called chronic endometriosis that caused me years of pain, fatigue, weight and hormone issues, negative side effects from medications, and ultimately culminating in two major surgeries, two years in a row. Not only did the treatments and surgeries I endured not solve the root cause of the illness, they resulted in creating another serious issue. Surgical menopause at the young age of 33.
In the recovery room after the second major surgery, a radical and complete hysterectomy, I realized what I had been doing was not working. This was the gift that shifted my life.
I knew I was being guided to learn everything I could about my body and how to help it heal itself and become strong, healthy, energetic, and well. And I knew I would spend the rest of my life teaching everything I learned, helping others to know they can prevent and reverse the inflammatory causes and conditions in their lives too.
I sought many more years of education in fitness, holistic health and healing, wellness, physiology, hydration and nutrition, personal growth, and self-development. I obtained multiple certifications and a love for continuous learning. And for the past 20 years I’ve been teaching, training, coaching, and helping others to create their own healthier, happier lives too!
My focus is twofold:
1) I help you eliminate the contributors to the chronic inflammation that’s causing symptoms, illnesses, premature aging, pain, and disease, and to improve wellness from the inside out.
2) I help you improve your functional cores strength correctly, to support and protect your spine, improve balance and overall strength. The goal is always to train muscles to work together properly, reinforce a balanced musculoskeletal system to have healthy mobility, prevent injury, and prevent falling down. By learning to engage and activate our deepest primary core stabilizing muscles, we create a powerful protection of our spine, and we take the extra load off our hips and knees while decompressing the cervical spine. This is life-changing for training our mind and our body together. With this method, we reprogram our mind and body to automatically engage the correct core muscles with proper support and mobility for all functional activities in every day life, as well as in athletic events and regular workouts.
Here’s the absolute truth; we don’t have to go down a scary road of aging. We don’t have to decline or live with pain, disease, medication, fear, fatigue, surgeries, suffering, or weight gain, just because of chronological age.
We absolutely CAN become stronger, healthier, more muscular, improve our metabolism, and feel better, healthier, and more energetic as we continue to get older.
I have written and am soon to publish my first book, “How to Live a Fit, Healthy, & Free Life,” and I’ve authored and contributed articles to two health and wellness magazines.
